SoniWhite:Ultrasonic Whitening Technology

Welcome to the first SoniWhite Ultrasonic Whitening Center in Thailand at City Park Dental Clinic,Phuket Thailand. Coming on your way,the latest whitening technology from U.K is firstly available only here in Thailand from October 16,2006.

The Changing Face of Tooth Whitening

The brand new UltraSonic tooth whitening system (SoniWhiteTM) from DMDS QuickWhite is so efficient that a 5% hydrogen peroxide concentration will produce the same results as a 50% hydrogen peroxide system and it will do it without gingival protection (no paint-on dam or rubber dam), no cheek retractors, no dehydration or rebound and no heating the teeth and in addition it can be used by hygienist due to the low percentage of hydrogen peroxide.

The system is truly a break through and will change the way teeth are whitened. Did you know that light-curing tooth whitening products do not cause the hydrogen within such materials to produce more active bleaching elements (free radical oxygen atoms) In fact it causes the well documented direct decomposition of hydrogen peroxide to water and oxygen gas. This does achieve excellent whitening results but in order to be more effective in tooth whitening the hydrogen peroxide must produce additional free radical oxygen atoms; simply adding more light to peroxide does not accomplish this. The use of high powered lights and lasers to peroxide compositions do actually increase the whitening and it doesspeed up the process, this is because these high power lights HEAT UP THE PEROXIDE and it is the heat that generates the additional free radical oxygen atoms. Now we are right back to where we started in 1900 high heat, high concentration of peroxides, sensitivity and maybe tooth damage, the exception being the LumaArch when used with QuickWhite as it is cold whitening system.

NOW UltraSonic technology is the solution- DMDS QuickWhite (SoniWhiteTM) launched the next step which will change whitening for ever: the direct addition of energy to peroxide that will cause the massive production of free
radical oxygen without increasing the temperature: Ultrasound.
Ultrasonic energy does not produce the free radical oxygen atom directly. In other words you cannot apply hydrogen peroxide (or any other peroxide) to the teeth and hit it with ultrasonic energy and get any additional free radical
oxygen atoms; the direct addition of ultrasonic energy will
enhance and speed up tooth whitening. Ultrasonic energy
stimulates a reaction between other chemicals (QuickWhite
special formula) and the peroxide to enhance the production
of the free radical oxygen atoms, it is producing 8-11
shades in one 12-22 minutes session, seeing is believing.
